The June 26 episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS saw a slight increase in viewership, drawing an average of 819,000 viewers, up 89% from last week's low of 433,000.

The show featured the final build to the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on Saturday, July 23. The episode kicked off with a promo by new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, who challenged Hiroshi Tanahashi to a match at the event.
