Masters of Albion Arrives in Early Access 2023
By the time you read these words, Peter Molyneux will have taken to the Opening Night Live stage at Gamescom.
The game in question is Masters of Albion, a spiritual successor to Molyneux's 2008 god game Black & White. Molyneux, alongside a team of 20 industry veterans, has spent the past 6 years working on this new title.
In an interview with The Guardian, Molyneux stated that Albion is "a game where you can create your own world, populate it with creatures, and then play with them as you wish." He also said that Albion will be "a lot more ambitious" than Black & White, and that it will feature "a lot more content and a lot more depth."
Masters of Albion is scheduled to release in early access on PC in 2023. No word yet on a full release date or console ports.
