UEFA Champions League: Celtic defeats ŠK Slovan Bratislava 3-1 in Glasgow

Stunning goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada seal victory for Scottish champions

Ange Postecoglou's side take control of Group F with their second win in a row

Celtic produced a dominant display to defeat ŠK Slovan Bratislava 3-1 at Celtic Park in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Kyogo Furuhashi opened the scoring for the Scottish champions in the 24th minute with the first goal being a stunning strike from outside of the box.

Liel Abada doubled Celtic's lead just before the break with another superb goal.

Slovan Bratislava pulled one back through Vladimír Weiss in the 88th minute, but Abada made sure of the win for Celtic with his second goal of the night in stoppage time.

The victory takes Celtic top of Group F with six points from their two games, while Slovan Bratislava are bottom with zero points.

Celtic will now face Real Madrid in their next Champions League game on 5 October, while Slovan Bratislava will host Shakhtar Donetsk.
